Linda L. Keenan was born and raised in Upstate New York, three houses from Lake Erie. She has always been an avid reader. During summer school vacations, she and her best friend would ride their bikes to the bookmobile, fill up their baskets and race home to begin their reading marathon to see who finished their books first. Mysteries and Sci-fi are among her favorite topics.
While working as a Paralegal in Connecticut, Linda earned a B.S. in Legal Studies and an M.A.in History. She later taught history as an Adjunct at the university where she had earned her undergraduate degree. She enjoys expressing herself in writing, whether in letters, legal documents, research papers, blog posts or novels.
After retiring from the 9 to 5 life, Linda became a Residential Real Estate Appraiser. It gave her the freedom to begin writing in earnest. Her first novel was “With Love From Poland.” That lead to the second novel, “The Journal.” Both are set against the backdrop of the Second World War. The common thread running through each book is a group of civilians forming an underground resistance to save people from the Nazis. Readers find mystery, intrigue, suspense, romance, and a smattering of humor with glimmers of the metaphysical in Keenan’s books.
Linda is the Program Director of Pen, Paper and Pals Writing Club, the American Association of University Women, the Florida Writers Assn and Florida Authors and Publishers Assn. When she’s not writing, she loves to read, sew or watch movies.
